AUTOBIOGRAPHY
A simple, diligent, and determined student, Risaline Cudal Cuaresma, was born on June 08, 1993 at the Region of Cordillera, Province of Kalinga, town of Rizal, Barangay Babalag West. Her mother is Mrs. Aurora Cudal Cuaresma who is presently working as a Municipal Engineer of their town. Her father is Mr. Renato Bayed Cuaresma, a secondary teacher located near their barangay. Risaline is the third and last child of the three children of Aurora and Renato. Her elder sister is Richelle, 23 years of age and working now at Makati City as an Auditor of a firm. Her brother is Richard, 19 years of age and is now a fourth year student at New Era University, taking BS in Civil Engineering.
Risaline, still at the young age of seven months, was sent to her grandmother and raised her until reaching the age of five. Since her mother that time was freshly admitted and became permanent on her job, and her father was also teaching, Risaline was brought to her grandmother, Erlinda Cudal, the mother of Aurora. She grew and lived there at Agbannawag, Tabuk, Kalinga with her grandmother and uncles while her brother Richard and sister Richelle were brought to their ‘lola Merced’, the mother of their father, at their hometown of Rizal. Risaline was named after the name of their town, Rizal because among the three, she was the only one who was born at Rizal while her brother and sister were born at Agbannawag.
Though lived in a province and in a poor family, Risaline was raised healthy and attentive child especially to her grandmother who was very kind to everyone. Her first teacher is her uncle Armando, who taught her how to read, write, and count at the age of three. At that age, she already knew how to wash the clothes and blankets by always looking at her grandmother how she washes clothes. Beside from washing, sweeping the floor everyday and removing the big grasses around the house became her hobby. Risaline was a favorite of her ‘lola’ and ‘tito’ when she was a child because she did not even became a headache to them when it comes to house chores and discipline.
When she was a child, her favorite food was fried egg. She likes to play cooking and playing soil with her cousins. She goes to church every Sunday and used to go with her grandmother, a deaconess at their church, on every Thursday too. Risaline used to sleep silently beside her lola until the worship service is finished. Every afternoon, she goes out with her grandmother and goes to market where Risaline is popularly known at Agbannawag. During vacation, her mother and father used to visit her at Agbannawag. And sometimes, they go to Rizal with her brother and sister too. That was the very routine of her life at Agbannawag.
At the age of five, Risaline was sent to Rizal to take her studies at Day Care. It was very hard for her to be separated from her ‘lola’ and uncles. She had nothing to do but to follow her parents and live already at Rizal. It was her first time to live in their house and also still afraid to meet and be with her brother and sister. But during her stay, she became closer to them and grew with them.
She entered Grade 1 at the age of six, which was on year 1999. She studied elementary at Rizal Central School at Babalag East, Rizal, Kalinga and she graduated there as Third Honor on March 2005. She became friends with April Joy V. Vea, Divina Cabilin, and other friends. One of her unforgettable experience was when she and her classmate were scolded by their teacher, Ms. Meralonia Fronda, because of fighting inside the classroom.
During her college, she was the only one among their elementary class who enrolled at a public school while others at a private one. First day of class was a change of atmosphere because of new faces and new environment for Risaline. She thought to herself that she will make good of her studies and make her parents proud of her. She had studied well her lessons and she began to join different contests to enhance her skill as their teacher had suggested. From first year to fourth year in high school, she became the First in Excellence in their class. She had went also to other places in other provinces of their region and had visited different schools while joining some contests like Math Challenge since Mathematics is also her favorite subject.
Her parents are very lucky and thankful for she Graduated as Valedictorian on April 2009. Since it was also the day of her sister’s graduation in college, her father was the one who accompanied her with her brother and grandmother. It was still a very happy and successful day for Risaline especially when she is delivering her Valedictory Speech. She will miss everyone – her friends, teachers, and her alma mater.
Risaline decided to follow the path of her sister. She wants to become a Certified Public Accountant after taking a course in Accountancy. Her mother wants her to study also at New Era University. She is living inside a Ladies Dormitory owned by their church, Iglesia Ni Cristo, where she is a member. And now, Risaline is already in Third Year College and currently taking her four-year course, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. She is always praying for her studies and to reach her goal to become a Certified Public Accountant and have a better future in her life.
And you know who's that girl I'm talking to?------IT'S ME!!!!!! :)
